Training for white and yellow belts include how to fall, roll, simple self defenses, blocks, forms, and fun.  They are introduced to sparring with the senseis and we have fun with light sabers and basic weapon handling.

As your child progresses you will see a change in their confidence, leadership skills, and self esteem.  They learn respect for each other and the community as they continue to train.  By the time your child reaches black belt level she / he will have:

* Learned how to fall, roll, and throw

* Sparred with peers as well as senseis

* Competed in tournaments

* Learned effective self defense

* Acquired basic boxing skills

* Learned our system's kata (forms)

* Will have learned to use bo staff, kali stick, nunchuku, and other weapons

* Learned to identify potentially dangerous situations and been encouraged to speak to parents/guardians/ safe adults if something is wrong
